On Friday March 27th 2009 at the "Clays in the Glades" shooting ground at Port of the Islands on US 41 south.
This is an opportunity to drive out into the Everglades to see the wild life and to shoot a round of 100 clay birds in a wooded area by a river.
You don't have a gun? No problem - you can rent one.
You have not shot before? No problem - there will be an experienced shooter with each squad (group) to help you.
Can I come and not shoot? No problem - enjoy the scenery, watch the shooters and have the delicious lunch .
How do I get there? There is an opportunity to do a mini quiz Rally en route or just drive to the venue and meet there at 10.30 am

Please register if you intend to come to any part of the day, as numbers will be limited.
To start the mini rally meet at 9am in the Publix car park on the corner of Airport Pulling Rd and Vanderbilt Beach road in North Naples .
To meet at the shooting ground go south on US 41 pass the Marco Island and Goodland turns and continue south to Port of the Islands turn left on the road to pass Orchid Cove go around a large (closed) hotel to the shooting ground behind.
(For keen sports people there is also, skeet, trap and 5 stand .)
